MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to provide direct support to artisans of the Pine Ridge Reservation in acquiring resources and materials for their creative expression and the generation of traditional and other crafts. We work to support an environment on Pine Ridge in which the study and creation of traditional crafts can continue to flourish and to aid the artisans in continuing and/or establishing venues for the distribution and sale of their artwork.
                 About the Assistance Fund
                   and Long Shadow Studio
The Pine Ridge Artisan’s Assistance Fund (PRAAF) was created by Long Shadow Studio, and inspired by Lakota friends who are dedicated to continuing their craft traditions. The Fund assists them in acquiring resources and materials to make trade goods to sell as a means of financial support for themselves, their children, and their families. The Fund is supported by the sale of Long Shadow Studio’s custom designed, copyrighted decals. A donation from each decal sale is put into the Assistance Fund. The Fund is then used to purchase resources and materials for use by Pine Ridge artisans.

All parts of all designs can be customized. New designs can be created by request. All custom decal designs become the property of Long Shadow Studio except when alternative arrangements are agreed upon prior to the beginning of the custom work.
